A teaching professional for the last seven years, Nell Mooney is a jack-of all trades, teaching all of the American Styles in both Rhythm and Ballroom, as well as Salsa on 2 and Lindy Hop and Country Western. She was first noticed by studio owners soon after she started dancing for fun in the NYC Swing clubs. Soon after, Nell was hired to teach and started competing professionally. Nell has performed around New York City in places like Lincoln Center, Cipriani, Irving Plaza, the Knitting Room, Stardust Ballroom Weekend and also on the "Silver Screen" in Disney's Enchanted and Mad Hot Ballroom. She now competes in Country Western travelling all over the US. One of the things that Nell most loves about teaching is watching her students progress as fast as possible into dancers that people admire on the floor. She sings and acts as well, with a BFA from Rutgers.
